What Is Regression Therapy?

by Janine on February 1, 2014

What is Regression Therapy?

Fears and phobias often have hidden, repressed or suppressed causes which can be released through hypnotic age regression.

Often the origins of emotional and sometimes psychosomatic physical problems go back to experiences in the past and quite often during childhood when we are more impressionable.

The process is very gentle and involves sitting in a chair and with your eyes closed while the therapist uses visualization to lead you slowly back to an earlier stage in your life.

Dr. Ambrose is accredited in regression techniques having shared her skills for over 20 years.

A Musical Star is born in Waterloo Iowa!

Dylan Sires & Neighbors

My son Dylan is amazing in many ways. It was no coincidence that he was named Dylan. His dad and I put Bob Dylan & Dylan Thomas together. A writer and a musician, he didn’t have a choice. Lol Even as a newborn he was ahead of his time. At 3 days old I was chatting with him and he laughed out loud… Not many babies laugh out loud as newborns. Most cannot control their eyes yet!

Being a concert/rock band pianist, I used to play my grand piano in the middle of the night, after the 4 children had gone to bed. Usually I would finish up at about 2am in the morning. There was Dylan lying on a blanket under the piano. I’d picked him up and carried him to bed. So at a very young age he was bombarded with music. In 3rd grade he played the string bass, never needing to hear the notes to tune it. He had innate musical ability or ear. Then for Christmas in 8th grade I bought him a $100.00 guitar with a tiny amplifier. Every night he came home from school, go into his room, shut the door and play the guitar. From there it went to playing with his friends in the garage, which included a ticket from the city for the loud noise! In high school he was so bashful that he would not face the audience when his band played. Even though I could teach piano, his independence led him to teach himself how to play the piano… Mind you, it is the hardest instrument to learn.

Now at age 27 with a background in media, editing and film he is working on his 3rd Cd in one year. His music is Intellectual /Rock with a touch of the Beatles. To me the greatest gift he is giving me as a parent; is living his passion. If you listen to Dylan’s music you can feel it. You will be touched by his music!

Check out their website or connect with him on Facebook page Dylan Sires and Neighbors!

Namaste, Dr. Janine

As I reminisce back to how the book began, fond memories emerge. Dylan was around 3 to 4 years old and busy busy! Many told me to put him on drugs for hyperactivity. But I knew that was not the answer. So, we started making up stories where he was the hero and made a [...]

Patterns of Life

February 17, 2013

Have you ever said something then regretted saying? Your feelings were telling you that your words were not in harmony. While meditating in the woods and listening to the birds, I realized that there was a pattern to their songs. Even though their songs were different, the response was reflective. The epiphany came to me [...]

Cheers! , a friend of my recently ended her email with that verb age, which made me smile. If just one simple word you can put a smile on someone’s face, how easy is that? If we get out of our heads/beliefs and say positive words keeping a smile on our face positive things happen. [...]

My amazing daughter Celleste was married in October in Mexico. It is funny how you reminisce your children’s childhood in moments like this. As a child, her creative abilities were astounding to me. At age 3 she would play with the ants, even talking to them being so gentle. At the age of 8, Celleste [...]
